DJ Jeremy Productions is owned & operated by partners Jeremy and Jeannine Downing. Our Bay Area DJs combine top quality audio + lighting gear, the latest in DJ mixing technology, vast musical knowledge, and superb music mixing skills to guarantee a seamless mix of music for your wedding, corporate event, or private party.
Please note that all of our DJs are "real" mix-style DJs who will bring high level music-mixing skill to your event - we encourage you to take a listen to the many DJ mixes our DJs have posted to our Mixcloud page!
In addition to mixing music, all of our San Francisco DJs are also happy to act as the MC for your event, and will carry this duty out in a classy, non-cheesy (and non-intrusive!) fashion. If you are looking for an MC to make announcements and help keep things moving while staying away from the cheesy stuff (wedding games, cracking jokes, leading line dances etc), our DJs would be a perfect match!
Jeremy Downing is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley, obtaining a degree in Psychology. Jeremy has been honing his DJ skills for the past twenty years, and has been DJing as a full-time occupation since 2007. Earlier in his career, Jeremy was a long-standing resident club DJ at the San Francisco nightlife icon AsiaSF, and over the years, Jeremy has handled every type of DJ event imaginable.
DJ Jeremy first mastered the art of spinning vinyl records on a pair of Technics 1200 turntables, and has since incorporated the use of the latest DJ mixing software into his performances. In addition to his work DJing at wedding and corporate events, Jeremy also enjoys producing the occasional mashup or studio remix.
Jeannine Downing is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, obtaining a degree in Biological Sciences. Jeannine has a professional background consisting of over 10 years experience in the biotech industry, and 10+ years of experience as a San Francisco wedding DJ / MC. Jeannine DJs using the Serato DJ software systems.
Beyond DJ Jeremy and DJ Jeannine, we work with a number of awesome associate DJs that are capable of handling any type of event - from San Francisco Bay Area wedding DJ events to nightclubs, our DJs can cover it all. Please note that all of our associate DJs are "real" DJs who are fully capable of beat-matching and mixing music - no push button wedding DJs here!
